Will Hickey
Mr. Hickey co-founded Colgate with Mr. Walter in 2015 and currently serves as our President & Co-Chief Executive Officer. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Hickey worked for the energy private equity firm EnCap Investments where he evaluated and monitored investments across the oil and gas space with a focus on the Permian Basin. Prior to his time at EnCap Investments, Mr. Hickey worked for Pioneer Natural Resources where he rotated through numerous engineering positions including Chief of Staff to the Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hickey graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering. Mr. Hickey also holds an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
James Walter
Mr. Walter co-founded Colgate with Mr. Hickey in 2015 and currently serves as our President & Co-Chief Executive Officer. Prior to co-founding the Company, Mr. Walter worked for the energy private equity firm Denham Capital where he evaluated and monitored investments across the oil and gas space with a focus on the Permian Basin. Prior to his time at Denham Capital, Mr. Walter worked for Boston Consulting Group primarily focusing on evaluating upstream assets for leading exploration and production companies. Mr. Walter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in the Plan II Honors Program and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance.
Chris Aulds
Chris Aulds has served on the Colgate Board since the inception of the Company. Mr. Aulds is a Co-Founder and Operating Partner of Pearl. Prior to co-founding Pearl, Mr. Aulds was one of the Co-Founders and Co-CEOs of TEAK Midstream from 2009 until its sale in May 2013. Prior to TEAK, Mr. Aulds was one of the Co-Founders of Crosstex Energy Services (known today as Enlink Midstream), where he served in numerous executive positions from the time of its inception in 1996 until his retirement in 2007. Mr. Aulds graduated in 1984 from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering.
Stewart Coleman
Stewart Coleman has served on the Colgate Board since the inception of the Company. Mr. Coleman is a Partner of Pearl. Prior to joining Pearl, Mr. Coleman served as Vice President in the Opportunistic Investments Group at Crestline Investors, a Fort Worth, Texas-based alternative asset manager. Before joining Crestline, Mr. Coleman worked as an Associate at Kelso & Company in New York, where he focused on evaluating investments in the upstream and midstream sectors. Mr. Coleman began his career as an Analyst in the investment banking division at Citigroup. Mr. Coleman holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin.
Craig Glick
Craig Glick has served on the Colgate Board since January 2018. Mr. Glick joined NGP in 2006 and serves as Partner of the NGP funds. Previously, Mr. Glick served as Managing Director and General Counsel for NGP Midstream & Resources from 2006 to 2008. He was a founding partner of Kosmos Energy Holdings and served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary from 2003 to 2006. His previous tenures also include Hunt Resources and Hunt Oil Company (1999 to 2003), Gulf Canada Resources, Limited (1994 to 1999), Torch Energy Advisors (1994) and the law firm of Vinson & Elkins (1985 to 1994). Mr. Glick has also served as a director of six publicly traded companies. Mr. Glick received a B.A. in Political Science, cum laude, in 1982 from Tulane University and earned a J.D. in 1985 from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review.
David Levinson
David Levinson has served on the Colgate Board since January 2018. Mr. Levinson is a Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of Pearl, where he oversees the legal, compliance, and operational aspects of Pearl’s day to day operations. Prior to joining Pearl in 2015, Mr. Levinson was the Director of Business Development, licensing, and financial analysis for GTx, Inc., a publicly-traded biotechnology company. Mr. Levinson previously practiced law as a corporate attorney for Dechert, LLP focusing on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and private equity transactions. Mr. Levinson also served as a financial analyst for American Airlines. Mr. Levinson holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from the University of Chicago, and an M.B.A. from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
Billy Quinn
Billy Quinn has served on the Colgate Board since the inception of the Company. Mr. Quinn is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Pearl. Prior to co-founding Pearl in 2015, Mr. Quinn served as Managing Partner of NGP. Mr. Quinn received a B.S.E. in Finance, with honors, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
